World Series Of Poker

It's hard to top ESPN's coverage of the World Series Of Poker. With great commentary by Lon McEachern and Norman Chad, ESPN covers not only Hold Em, but Omaha, Stud, Razz, HORSE, and other aspects of the whole World Series. You can find World Series Of Poker episodes on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Classic. ESPN Classic regularly shows episodes from 2003-2005 WSOP, as well as classic episodes such as the 1995 Main Event (Dan Harrington's Win) and the 1998 Main Event (Scotty Nguyen)

Poker After Dark

Need your late night poker fix?? NBC's Poker After Dark is your answer. Tuesday thru Saturday episodes feature a 6 handed tournament with some of the best players in the world, While Sunday's episode recaps the previous 5 episodes. Hosted by Shana Hiatt and with commentary by Ali Nejad, this tournament really lets the players do the talking. And talk they do! Players include Phil Hellmuth, Gus Hansen, Doyle Brunson, Howard Lederer, Phil Gordon, Annie Duke and a lot more. This tournament is a $20,000 buy in, winner takes all.

World Poker Tour

The World Poker Tour, entering its 1st season on the Game Show Network, has become one of the most popular poker shows on TV. With Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten and new hostess Layla Kayleigh providing some of the best coverage and insight  out there, the WPT features a who's who of poker pro's, as well as amateurs. The WPT features some of the best tournaments, the biggest buy ins, and the highest winnings. Regulars include Mike "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Tuan Le, Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, and Scotty Nguyen

U.S. Poker Championships

Another tournament covered by ESPN, The USPC features the dynamic duo of Lon McEachern and Norman Chad. ESPN regular airs the 2004 and 2005 USPC shows, and are now airing the 2006 USPC. The USPC can be seen on ESPN2 as well as ESPN Classic. This $10,000 buy in tournament features such players as Mark Seif, Hoyt Corkins, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, John D'agostino, Scott Fischman and many more

High Stakes Poker

The first show of it's kind, GSN's High Stakes Poker is poker in its true form - cash games. Players sit down with a minimum of $100,000 and, like all cash games, can cash out or reload whenever they see fit. Blinds are $300/$600 with a $100 ante. Hosted by AJ Benza and Gabe Kaplan, with special guest host Daniel Negreanu when Gabe Kaplan plays. This show features some of pokers best, including Doyle Brunson, Barry Greenstein, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, and Chris "Jesus" Ferguson.

Poker Superstars

FSN's Poker Superstars series was the 1st TV show to put the best of the best at the tables for a TV show. There are 5 rounds in this tournament. In the the Qualifying Round, players try to accumulate points to advance to the Super 16. Points are based on tournament finish. From the Super 16 players advance to the quarterfinals, then the semi finals, and the winner of the final round wins $500,000. This tournament features the best of the best, including Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Phil Ivey, Chip Reese, and many more

Learn From The Pros

Another show from FSN, this show is the first to concentrate more on teaching the game then watching the game. With hosts Chris Rose and Howard "The Professor" Lederer, each 30 minute episode is dedicated to help improving your game. Also featured in every episode are such pros as Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Gordon, and more. Topics include position, raising, hand selection, pop quizzes, trivia, and much more.
